Asia Pacific Symposium on Entrepreneurship & Innovation

From the 1st - 3rd of April 2009, The University of Sydney presented the inaugural Asia Pacific Symposium on Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
This Symposium is a joint initiative of the International Entrepreneurship Research Group (IERG) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the United States Studies Centre and the Department of State and Regional Development.
The inaugural symposium was a great success, with over 160 participants from industry, government and academia enjoying a diverse program of presentations and moderated panel discussions from industry leaders and academic experts.
In addition to general proceedings, the Symposium hosted the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Global Entrepreneurship Research Centre, Zhejiang University, China and the International Entrepreneurship Research Group, University of Sydney. This MoU is designed to enable the respective research groups to collaborate effectively and efficiently to strengthen international collaborations, and to allow the exchanges of postgraduate coursework students undertaking entrepreneurship studies, as well as students undertaking higher research degrees.
Thank you to all who participated in 2009. We look forward to seeing you again in future years.
Sincerely,
The Organising Committee
